Who are we?
– emerging Suzuki students who have a passion to share their music
– growing violinists who want to advance their skills but still be a Suzuki student
What do we do?
– perform concerts in the community
– have our own advanced workshops
– hold community concerts, formal concerts, and recitals
Why is neveu spelled wrong?
The ensemble is named after famed violinist, Ginette Neveu, who suddenly died in a plane crash. Ginette was known for her emotional intensity while playing & that is something we will learn to develop in this ensemble. I also loved how her name gave a new feeling to the group. Learning technique can be a boring process at times, but we want to keep it fresh and new like this name suggests.
